Some sketches that I did in St Louis. The statue with the two explorers is one of the most interesting statues I've ever seen. It is actually in the Mississipi waters.
Oil 24x30, my friend Elizabeth. Advanced Illustration Techniques. What the heck is that fly doing on my wet grey sky !? I hope it dies from lead and cobalt poisoning :)
I toured Detroit and took pictures at interesting times to get cool references. It's 49" X 17", gouache on watercolor paper. Whish me luck for the judging!
Concept art at last! Gouache on hot press 10X19 . Part was done in Detroit, part in Miami Beach during spring break, in a cafe while the sun was baking my neck and Colombian waitress was serving me cappuccino. Ugh deadlines.
This is how I see my fantasy world and you can see that it's pretty realistic :) The coast in the foreground is composed of pictures of the only Macedonian island - Golem Grad. Gouache on illustration board, 12x17.
Senior illustration student at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. I graduated from Henry Ford Community College in 2007. My major was illustration (track of the graphic design department). I will graduate from CCS in December. I do most of my work in traditional media, Illustrator and I want to get more experience in Photoshop. My artwork is inspired by artists who work in similar maner.
